I am going away to a place where birds fly high

And the sun is here to stay

I taste sunscreen at the back of my tongue

And feel the water cold on my skin

So this is how it feels to be young

I think this is where my life will begin

I wonder will I ever feel like this again

The people swim under lavender's bridge

And they'll all be heading home soon as day turns to night

I settle in with my wife

And spend the hours talking with the moon
