是來自臺灣蘭嶼（Pongso no Tao）的雅美/達悟族歌手、詞曲創作人、母語教師與文化實踐者。他曾是天主教傳教士，現為Iraraley 傳統部落議會的領袖，致力於透過音樂與教育推動達悟族語的復振。為了激勵年輕世代學習自身的文化與語言，謝永泉投入傳統歌唱與文化知識的推廣，同時，他也創作以達悟族語為主的新歌，融合多樣的音樂元素與日常生活故事。謝永泉於2020年底發行的首張母語專輯《akokey 親愛的你好嗎—謝永泉Iraraley之歌》收錄了傳統曲目與他創作的新作品，同名單曲〈akokey親愛的你好嗎〉更是榮獲第12屆金音獎「最佳民謠歌曲獎」。 2025年1月，謝永泉帶著新發行的第二張雅美/達悟全族語創作專輯《netneten a mazovo 快快長大》，以父親的溫暖與深情為出發點，描繪對孩子、族語與文化「快快長大」的殷切期盼。 Yung-Chuan HSIEH (syaman Macinanao) is an Indigenous Yami/Tao singer, songwriter, native language teacher, and cultural practitioner from Pongso no Tao (Orchid Island/Lanyu), Taiwan. A former Catholic missionary, he currently serves as the leader of the Iraraley Traditional Village Council, dedicating himself to revitalizing the Yami/Tao language through music and education. To inspire younger generations to embrace their culture and language, syaman Macinanao actively promotes traditional singing and cultural knowledge. At the same time, he composes new songs primarily in the Yami/Tao language, blending diverse musical elements with everyday life stories. In late 2020, he released his debut native-language album, *akokey: Hsieh Yung-Chuan’s Songs of Iraraley*, which includes both traditional pieces and his original compositions. The title track, "akokey (Oh My Dear)," won the Best Folk Song Award at the 12th Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA). In January 2025, syaman Macinanao released his second full Yami/Tao-language album, *netneten a mazovo (Grow Up Quickly)*. Centered on a father’s warmth and deep affection, the album expresses heartfelt hopes for children, the native language, and cultural growth—to “grow up quickly.”
